The 167th TFR Federal Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of all Members' financial records consistent with state
and federal laws. The 167th TFR Federal Credit Union will take prudent and reasonable measures to safeguard the accuracy and privacy
of all Member information including information used while conducting business via the Internet, ATM networks, wire services,
telephone, U.S. mail and other means of communication.
The bylaws of 167th TFR Federal Credit Union requires its Officers, Directors, Committee Members and Employees to "Hold in
confidence all transactions of this credit union with its Members and all information respecting their personal affairs". Exceptions
may be made only in connection with the making of loans, the collection of loans, and the guaranteeing of Member share drafts.
Additionally, the bylaws of the 167th TFR Federal Credit Union grants our authorization to participate with credit reporting
agencies to facilitate making Member loans and guaranteeing Member share drafts. The information 167th TFR Federal Credit Union
provides to credit reporting agencies is protected by federal law and its use is strictly governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
167th TFR Federal Credit Union does not collect or maintain information about its Members that is not essential for prudent business
purposes.
167th TFR Federal Credit Union does not sell or otherwise provide Member names or other information to third parties for purposes
inconsistent with the credit union's mission to protect the privacy of each Members financial record consistent with state and
federal laws.
